Bug 132230 – slang sandbox violation with USE=unicode

Emerging slang fails with a sandbox violation error (below) when merged with USE=unicode, but works without it.

After merging with USE=-unicode, it merges again with USE=unicode. Odd, huh.

The links libslang-utf8.so and libslang-utf8.so.1 to libslang-utf8.so.1.4.9 were also created.

On some systems, e.g., linux, you may also have to run ldconfig.
