*** Bug 122200 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I tried the solution from 122200 and can confirm that this fixes the bug. The icons are visible and all programs can be started again. I have some additional information here. The tcsh/bash behavior seems to only occur if I use kdm as my login manager. When I switch to gdm, the problem goes away. Grobian, any thoughts on this? if I recall correctly, for bash, etc/profile is sourced "manually". So on Gentoo, for tcsh users, etc/csh.env could be sourced "manually". *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 167948 *** |
