This is not a Gnome problem. Try again after 'eselect opengl xorg-x11' Okay, that made gnome-terminal-2.14.1 build. But what's wrong with my nvidia-glx? I have the same problem with a few packages including gnome-terminal-2.14.1 Everytime that I want to install them I have to switch back to the xorg-X11 drivers. Does anybody know what's wrong with my system? nVidia/ATI's headers often carry different OpenGL-related information than is included in Xorg's headers, and most developers will write their software according to what is provided by Xorg. There's no way around it except to convince nVidia and ATI to conform to what's provided in Xorg. *** Bug 137099 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Closing since I no longer have an nVidia chip and the problem needs to be addressed UPSTREAM. Same problem with =x11-terms/gnome-terminal-2.14.2-r1. Any news on this issue regarding the nvidia-drivers?! |
