# emerge gentoolkit # epm -q mozilla And include output of epm command. # epm -q mozilla mozilla-1.2.1-r4 Hitting commit to post the previous crashed Mozilla again, btw ;( Yes, that's another repeatable way to crash it.... Hmm .. output of 'emerge info' Sorry about doing this in stages ... # emerge info Portage 2.0.46-r4 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.2.1, glibc-2.3.1-r2) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.19-gentoo-r9 i686 Pentium Pro USE="x86 oss 3dnow apm avi crypt cups encode gif jpeg libg++ libwww mikmod mmx mpeg ncurses nls pdflib png qtmt quicktime spell truetype xml2 xmms xv zlib gdbm berkdb slang readline arts svga tcltk java guile X sdl gpm tcpd pam ssl perl python esd imlib oggvorbis gtk qt kde motif opengl mozilla cdr -gnome mbox" ARCH="x86" COMPILER="gcc3" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=i686 -pipe" CXXFLAGS="" ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" CONFIG_PROTECT="/usr/kde/2/share/config /etc /var/qmail/control /usr/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb:/usr/kde/3/share/config:/usr/share/config" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" MAKEOPTS="-j2" JDK_HOME="/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.3.1" JAVA_HOME="/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.3.1" AUTOCLEAN="yes" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" I am experiencing the same problem as well. I'm having this problem with both phoenix-bin-0.5 and mozilla-1.2.1-r4. In addition, when phoenix crashes, it gives the following error: Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) serial 12491 error_code 3 request_code 4 minor_code 0 My emerge info is: Portage 2.0.46-r4 (, gcc-3.2.1, glibc-2.2.5-r4,2.3.1-r3) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.20-lolo-r1_rc2 i686 AMD Athlon(TM) MP Processor USE="x86 oss 3dnow avi crypt encode gif jpeg libg++ mikmod mmx mpeg ncurses pdfl ib png quicktime spell truetype xml2 xmms xv zlib gdbm berkdb slang readline tet ex guile mysql X sdl gpm tcpd pam libwww ssl perl python esd imlib oggvorbis gno me gtk opengl aalib afs -apm -arts bonobo cdr -cups doc evo flash gb ggz gphoto2 gtk2 gtkhtml imap -java -kde lcms mbox -motif mozilla nas -nls postgres -qt -qt mt samba sasl slp snmp sse -svga tiff wmf xml -tcltk -leim" ARCH="x86" COMPILER="gcc3" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=athlon-mp -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -finline-functions -ffor ce-mem -s -funroll-loops -frerun-loop-opt -fdelete-null-pointer-checks -fprefetc h-loop-arrays -maccumulate-outgoing-args -fschedule-insns" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon-mp -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -finline-functions -ff orce-mem -s -funroll-loops -frerun-loop-opt -fdelete-null-pointer-checks -fprefe tch-loop-arrays -maccumulate-outgoing-args -fschedule-insns" ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /var/qmail/control /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share /config /usr/share/config" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" MAKEOPTS="-j3" JDK_HOME="/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.1_beta" JAVA_HOME="/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.1_beta" AUTOCLEAN="yes" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" *** Bug 13973 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** is this still a issue ? Still an issue for me with Mozilla 1.2.1-r5. Not sure if it's the exact same problem as I'm not having problems with debka.com but I've experienced several other sites crashing Mozilla. Going to http://www.diku.dk and pressing "teaching" in the left side menu crashes Mozilla. Emerge info: Portage 2.0.47-r10 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.2.2, glibc-2.3.1-r4) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.19-gentoo-r10 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) processor GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://ftp.easynet.nl/mirror/gentoo/ http://gentoo.linux.no/ htt p://gentoo.oregonstate.edu/ http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gento o" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /var/qmail/control /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share /config /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/3.1/share/config /usr/share/config" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" USE="x86 oss 3dnow apm arts avi crypt cups encode gif jpeg kde gnome libg++ mikm od mmx mpeg ncurses nls pdflib png quicktime spell truetype xml2 xmms xv zlib gd bm berkdb slang readline tetex svga guile ruby mysql X sdl gpm tcpd pam libwww s sl perl python esd imlib oggvorbis gtk qt motif opengl mozilla cdr postgres -jav a" COMPILER="gcc3" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-mcpu=athlon-tbird -O3 -pipe" CXXFLAGS="-mcpu=athlon-tbird -O3 -pipe" ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" MAKEOPTS="-j2" AUTOCLEAN="yes" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" FEATURES="sandbox ccache" Since 1.2.1 is no longer relevant (1.4 is out, folks). This bug should be removed from bugzilla. AFAIK this is a non-issue with both the stable and unstable Mozilla builds of late. I'm inclined to agree; if there's an issue with 1.4 let's pursue it, otherwise this may well be an issue upstream or with one of the poster's extreme CFLAGS. |
