At current level of solving dependencies, this is not possible in the portage. Solution is to manualy emerge zope and then using zprod-manager install plone. Can you not add a dependency atom that's more specific the the version of zope? See here code listing 10 here: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/handbook/handbook.xml?part=2&chap=1#doc_chap5 Ok I see now. I can change the plone ebuild to grab the correct version of zope (i.e. latest 2.7 series) but the other dependencies will grab zope 2.8. Oh well never mind :) Thanx this document is perfectly known to me :) however that's not what I was writing about because problem is much more complicated. |
