Working on a new version as we speak. marking this as wontfix because I'm not sure if the next smallestcd will have ppp support. Gentoo was created for people with broadband access. Smallercd is intended for those people who don't need irc, wireless, ppp, pppoe, pptp, adsl or vim etc at installation. If I add ppp to the livecd, I'll also need to add pppoe, pptp, adsl, wireless support and maybe even ipv6, causing the smallercd to be as big as a compressed livecd. If you want me to compress (gzip -9 of bzip -9) the livecd (should be about 70M in size) and upload it to ibiblio let me know. closing this for now, until busybox has ppp support build in. |
