Ok, as noted in bug # 1312, I have updated the debianutils package in portage. However, I am getting compile errors in apmd still. They look to be the same errors as I had with debianutils-1.13. Then again, I am not running a laptop, so I will have to inquire into this a little further. for a successful compile of apmd on my box, I have had to add CFLAGS="${CFLAGS} -I /usr/X11R6/include" in the make statement in order to emerge successfully. I wonder why... Any clues? um, I have emerged apmd and run apmd without debianutils even being on my system. what error gets generated for you? OK, this is sorted. I was just being unobservant. Thanks :) |
