If you just remove the dep, does building w/o eds work for you? Ekiga does depend on eds afaik, because of the adressbook please tell me if it is possible to build w/o eds or if some switch is needed. Ebuild patch preferred :) i have reemerged ekiga with USE="-gnome" and it builds successufly and it seems to have all needed functionality including adressbook, but when clicking in adressbook window on "Local contacts" ekiga crashes.. (but i don't know if this crash is related to eds or some dependency anyway) *** Bug 132316 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to comment #3) > i have reemerged ekiga with USE="-gnome" and it builds successufly > and it seems to have all needed functionality including adressbook, > but when clicking in adressbook window on "Local contacts" ekiga crashes.. > (but i don't know if this crash is related to eds or some dependency anyway) > It doesn't matter if you can build the package without the 'gnome' USE-flag. When you try to build it without eds the other packages might need it to compile. |
