Im using a 1.4_rc1 cd image. CDC ACM support is not enabled to my knowledge.
Is it possible to put this into the LiveCD? it is required for some ISDN lines
and in my case (a 3G cellular phone). Thanks alot!

Please test the 1.4_rc2 LiveCD and let me know if it works.

I have motorola SurfBoard cable modem. It works if it is plugged through an Ethernet
card, but it does not work with USB.

It would be very easy to add USB support for motorola cable modems (and possibly
others) simply by adding:

USB Modem (CDC ACM) support (acm.o)
USB Communication Class Ethernet device support (CDCEther.o)

It creates additional network interfaces (ethX), just like pci or isa network cards and
a simple net-setup / dhcp would bring up the network connection

If you need someone to test it, email me, cedric@neopeak.com
