Ok, you're going to need to give me more info because it works fine over here... Well, I'll be happy to provide more info - could you please tell me, what you'd need? I stopped webmin service: eselect rc stop webmin I removed webmin-1.270 by CONFIG_PROTECT="-*" emerge -C webmin I then reinstalled it by CONFIG_PROTECT="-*" emerge webmin I then started service: eselect rc start webmin Then I started a browser and went to https://localhost:10000/ Result: Error message. Are there any logfiles which I could provide? (In reply to comment #0) > I installed webmin with the following flags: > > [ebuild R ] app-admin/webmin-1.270 USE="apache2 -postgres ssl > -webmin-minimal" 0 kB > > I then started the webmin service. When I go to https://localhost:10000/, I > only get an error message: > > Error - File not found > > That's all I see. Exact same error here, but with stable version aswell and postgres use flag. So far I've tried 1.250 and 1.270. This problem can be fixed by inspecting your /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf file. Open it with vim, nano, whatever, and inspect the paths. It is likely there are invalid paths in there. Just edit them to what webmin is expecting, and it'll work. This is a consequence of the following bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80091 . |
