I just tested 2.7.5.1, and with this version, I can write JPEG image files just fine. I have this problem also when trying to resize images. I get blank 0 byte new files.. same error. version 2.6.9 If 2.7.5.1 fixes this problem as said, please import it to portage. When will this be fixed? Ie., when will the broken "stable" version be removed and instead the working "unstable" version be added to the tree? Raising severity, as this bug makes gthumb pretty much useless. indeed, it's fixed for me too in 2.8.0 (bug 156342) I have the same problem. This bug have been here for several months. fuck! Yangtse, no need to shout insults, at best people will only ignore you. Now, I've tried to reproduce this bug on an ~x86 box, but the bug seems to be fixed. I'll close this bug NEEDINFO. If you want us to do anything about it, make sure you have a *fully* up-to-date system and please read : - http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml - http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/desktop/gnome/gnome-policy.xml Reopen the bug with all the necessary information. Bug is corrected in 2.8 and later. Adding dependency. |
