Description Kati 2006-04-15 21:59:41 UTC
Grip would sometimes completely freeze and zombie to the point where kill -9 would not do anything. It all started after changing disks sometime before ripping and after inserting the disk. Alot of times it shows it accessing the network and then freeze up. On top of this all I cannot open my CDrom try from the external button anymore sense using grip. I have to run eject command to even open the tray and the drive is not mounted.

I do not think grip should be considered Stable on AMD64. Keyword should be changed to ~amd64.

Have you tried the "Work around faulty eject" config option in Grip?
