on the screen apper very short duration fringes which are placed randomly on
the screen.
The fringes are about 2 cm (1 inch) long and very thin in vertical proportion.
When I'm not pressing any key the fringe appears once a ten second interval
(approximately).
And when the key is pressed there are a lot of fringes randomly located on the
screen which are making a "noise".

Xorg and Gnome were built using portage system.

Gnome version is 2.12.3
and Xorg version is 6.8.2

my graphic card is nvidia Riva TNT2
