Sorry bout this but I accidentilly hit 'submit' before I had wanted so I didn't actually get the problem mentioned. I'm trying to emerge php on a server that a friend of mine and I are building. When we try to emerge php We get the following error: checking for IBM DB2 support... configure: error: ODBC header file '/home/db2inst1/sqllib/include/sqlcli1.h' not found! unixODBC-2.2.11 as well as liliodbc-3.51.2 have been installed but even a manual search ("locate sqlclil.h") finds nothing on the machine at all. I'm not sure if this means that there is a problem in the configure script or that there needs to be a package installed that isn't there yet. checking for IBM DB2 support... configure: error: ODBC header file '/home/db2inst1/sqllib/include/sqlcli1.h' not found! We can't support commercial software that's not in portage, sorry; db2 use flag is provided for user convenience only, if you have problems, you need to fix it yourself or ask the vendor for support. ok, thanks (In reply to comment #3) > ok, thanks No problem. We just have no way to test such stuff. Feel free to reopen if you find a fix, have a patch etc. in case it's php fault (unlikely though, if header files are missing from db2). |
