Description Paul Bredbury 2006-04-13 17:32:53 UTC
Hi, emerging ut2004-bonuspack-ece-1-r2 gives the error:

>>> Unpacking source...

!!! ERROR: games-fps/ut2004-bonuspack-ece-1-r2 failed.
Call stack:
  ebuild.sh, line 1532:   Called dyn_unpack
  ebuild.sh, line 697:   Called src_unpack
  ebuild.sh, line 1242:   Called games-ut2k4mod_src_unpack
  games-ut2k4mod.eclass, line 53:   Called die

!!! what are we supposed to unpack ?

Enclosed is a patch to fix it by removing the unnecessary games-ut2k4mod.

This patch will probably be preferred, which keeps games-ut2k4mod and just adds src_unpack().

I guess I have the same problem:

 # emerge -DuvN world
Calculating world dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) games-fps/ut2004-bonuspack-ece-1-r2 to /
>>> md5 files   ;-) ut2004-bonuspack-ece-1-r2.ebuild
>>> md5 files   ;-) files/digest-ut2004-bonuspack-ece-1-r2
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) ut2004megapack-linux.tar.bz2
>>> Unpacking source...

!!! ERROR: games-fps/ut2004-bonuspack-ece-1-r2 failed.
!!! Function games-ut2k4mod_src_unpack, Line 53, Exitcode 0
!!! what are we supposed to unpack ?
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

Fixed in CVS... I forgot that I had a different eclass locally than what is in portage.
