Can't locate object method "check_prerequisites" via package "Video::DVDRip::Cluster::Master" at /usr/bin/dvdrip-master line 216.

in fact /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/Video/DVDRip/Cluster/Master.pm is present on disk, but it looks like it is not sourced/use/included ...

is this the reason why it isnt detecting any of my installed software that are required? or is that another bug? If so, I'll report that.

as soon as i get a dependency of 0.97.9 in the tree we can close this, upstream fixed it in 0.97.9

Mark: please remerge glibc with linuxthreads and nptl or only linuxthreads, i think that might relate to that, been so long i that i have seen this bug, since i am going to close this bug look through bugzilla, if you find the old bugs and find yourself still having that issue, please reopen one that has your exact issues (there really should be one) and attach your 'emerge --info' and with which version of dvdrip you see this problem, thanks

Demaine: 0.97.9 is in tree, the upstream fixes include dvdrip-master not starting,  please test and if you have issues, file one against 0.97.9, i am merely leaving some time before i remove the previous version this time, so to me 0.97.8 is dead now

I did esync 6h ago, and 0.97.9 not in /usr/portage/media-video/dvdrip/ :
