proftpd can't be compiled with module mod_ifsession from the current ebuild (1.2.10-r7). the module is now included in contrib/ dir, but it's not compiled by default by ebuild. there isn't also any USE flag to enable it.

be carefull when enabling it. here's note from official instalation mini-howto 
(http://www.castaglia.org/proftpd/modules/mod_ifsession.html#Installation):
"Note that mod_ifsession should be the last module in the --with-modules list, if multiple modules are listed. This makes sure that mod_ifsession's changes will be seen properly by other modules. "
