Description Radek Podgorny 2006-04-11 02:23:58 UTC
On my ~x86 system I did "crossdev -t arm-unknown-linux-gnu". It gets to stage when trying to build glibc but fails with "glibc-2.4 is nptl-only!". Crossdev should take care of this.

so whats the question
Comment 4 Radek Podgorny 2006-04-11 06:26:45 UTC
Did you even read it before closing? The question is: Make crossdev pass USE="nptl nptlonly" to glibc merge when it detects it's version 2.4.
Comment 5 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-04-11 06:31:26 UTC
no i missed that sentence

and crossdev isnt going to have this sort of logic added to it
Comment 6 Radek Podgorny 2006-04-11 06:36:18 UTC
OK, so what's the solution? This makes crossdev completely useless.
Comment 7 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-04-11 06:46:08 UTC
do what has always worked

USE="nptl nptlonly" crossdev arm
