Bug 129313 – Missing common fonts in wine

Some commonly used fonts seem to be missing in wine-0.9.10 (the latest version available on amd64), with letters in stead showing up as empty rectangles.  To see an example of this, run 'winemine' (which is installed by wine), open the Help menu, and select About (or somesuch, my version is norwegian).  This window is supposed to contain text, but I only see a bunch of rectangles.  Many other apps suffer from this problem.  Also, the problem persists after deleting ~/.wine, so it's not just my config that's broken.

I found some other missing font bug reports, but the solution to these were to install corefonts and/or fontforge.  Both of these are installed on my system.  Also, linking/copying the corefonts ttfs to either /usr/share/wine/fonts or ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts doesn't help.

Wine does seem to install some fonts, but it either doesn't install all required ones, or doesn't use all of them:
