Description Franklin Marmon 2006-04-07 09:51:12 UTC
I have copied the older ebuilds for sphinx2 (0.4 ebuild) to make a (0.6) ebuild, the newer stable version from the developers of that package.

I've also added an ebuild for sphinx3, which wasn't currently in portage. 3-0.5 is the current stable version, 3-0.6 is a release cantidate of the package.

Please include them in portage.

sphinx2-0.6 ebuild is Bug 126619 already...
Comment 6 Franklin Marmon 2006-04-07 10:08:52 UTC
My apologies, I will search for ebuilds in the bug list before submitting them in the future.
Comment 7 Jon Hood (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-18 22:11:20 UTC
Franklin, did you test this for x86, ppc, and amd64? I can only add this to the architectures that it has been tested on.
Comment 8 Jon Hood (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-03 21:35:47 UTC
Now in portage, but due to a lack of response for the ppc testing, I removed the ppc flag. Additionally, I fixed the documentation installation. Thank you for your submission, and if you want ppc to be added to the architectures supported, please file a new bug and assign it to ppc@g.o. Thanks!
