Description Jared H. Hudson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-28 20:40:06 UTC
rdate is used to update the local system time from a network time server. Would
be handy to do before un-taring the stage files so that tar times are correct
and or tar doesnt give a warning about time being in the future. If added, note
should be added to install documentation concerning how to set this and then use
hwclock to set the BIOS time. timezone should be settable on the liveCD as well.
Comment 1 Pieter Van den Abeele (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-29 06:52:08 UTC
rdate is on ppc livecd 281202 as well
Will check if including the timezone stuff on ppc livecd is possible spacewise.
