Hi w_knop. Thanks for a submission! So, this is a commercial app. Well, then we have to be careful about licensing. As I understand, if I follow the SRC_URI in the ebuild I will download the trial version fo varicad. In order to unlock it later (within 30 days) one would have to purchase it online. Is this true? As I see on the site, the company allows unrestricted download of this "trial" version. Even registering is requred only to keep using the package after the first 15 days. Well, as such it seems to be Ok to leave ebuild as it is now, however still, I think it would be better to check our policy and then contact the company and ask if they would prefer unrestricted download or should we impose restrictions (we can do it in ebuid btw). I will do this checking and get back, though please confirm that my understanding of the situation is correct. George Well, no reply from the company in a loong time.
