Description Heiko Baumann 2006-03-31 22:57:49 UTC
hi all,

after updating to kernel 2.6.15 my nfs acl's are gone.

switching to 2006.0 and updating to gentoo-sources-2.6.16-r1 fixes the problem for me.

i have'nt checked 2.6.15-r7/-r8 but some other gentoo guys had same problems with -r5 and changelog does not show any related. so i believe they are also broken.

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-428450-highlight-nfs+acl.html

some google'ing comes up with this

Thanks for reporting. It's unlikely that we'll do any more 2.6.15 releases, but if we do, this patch will be included (I added it to the patch tree).
