ebuild file
Please, review the following policy wrt perl ebuilds and explain why is this ebuild needed in portage: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/handbook/handbook.xml?part=3&chap=1#doc_chap2 Ok, this was my first ebuild and I didn't know there were restrictions for Perl modules. I can't explain why this module is necessary, all I know is that I need it for the scripts of nulog (http://www.inl.fr/Nulog.html), a Web interface to view logs of firewall. Since I built my own ebuild, i wanted to give it to the community. Maybe it's not really useful, but I found it was easier to emerge it. There are already too many perl ebuilds. For gcpan stuff, use app-portage/g-cpan unless there's other reason for the ebuild to be in portage, as mentioned in that policy. Thanks anyway, closing this bug. |
