Read the code sample a little more carefully. The > atom in front of >media-video/nvidia-kernel-1.0.6629-r4 means that it masks *any* version greater than -r4. Not much useful. Spelling it out for nightmorph: '>...-r4' means anything higher than -r4 is masked, ie. we *want* -r4 Now that -r4 has been replaced by -r5, we *want* -r5 which is masked. I don't know anything about nvidia cards, their drivers and their numbering, but maybe masking '>1.0.6630' could be done. Anyway, s/-r4/-r5/ done. Thanks for reporting (and reopening). |
