I don't think this is gcc issue necessarily, this thing seems to be totally messed-up w/ both heimdal and mit-krb5 (see Bug 113052) It definitely isn't GCC's _fault_ but I suspect it might not show up with gcc-3*. I'll have a look into it when I've got some free time. Any news on this? I've hit it during a server rebuild because of a broken HD. :( This happened to me for yafc-1.1 (the current stable version in Portage), BTW, not 1.1.1. I have kerberos in USE flags and gcc-3.4.5.
