Description Duncan 2006-03-21 21:13:10 UTC
QA Notice: the following shared libraries lack a SONAME
 /tmp/portage/gpac-0.4.1_pre20060122/image/usr/lib/libgpac-0.4.1-DEV.so
[snip]
!!! File /tmp/portage/gpac-0.4.1_pre20060122/image///usr/lib/libgpac-0.4.1-DEV.so matches a file type that is not allowed in /usr/lib

What's that QA notice anyway? Related?

While my emerge --info (to be attached) includes gcc-4.1.0, I tried with 4.0.3 and 3.4.6 as well. I also tried with only -march=k8 -O2 -pipe in C(XX)FLAGS on all three gccs. Naturally, without FEATURES=multilib-strict, it merges fine. (This is without USE=mozilla as well, a just filed but believed unrelated bug #127141 covers a problem there. Noted here for clarity and in case it does end up related.)

Fixed in gpac-0.4.1_pre20060122-r1, had to rework the ebuild a bit, so did a revbump.

Also dropped mozilla use flag since it doesn't seem to be working at all anymore.
