nautilus 2.14 can't anymore recognize ps/eps files and some pdf. See gnome bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=335153. To fix this problem, you should bump shared-mime-info to new release 0.17 (http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xdg/2006-March/007856.html) with this patch, committed to HEAD: http://webcvs.freedesktop.org/mime/shared-mime-info/freedesktop.org.xml.in?r1=1.131&r2=1.132
