Description George Prowse 2006-03-19 05:50:11 UTC
when pressing down in nano to edit files i get this text all over the screen:

get_key_buffer(): key_buffer_len = 1
                                    parse_kbinput(): kbinput = 258, meta_key = 0, func_key = 0, escapes = 0, byte_digits = 0, retval = 14
                                                         get_shortcut(): kbinput = 14, meta_key = 0, func_key = 0
                                 get_toggle(): kbinput = 14, meta_key = 0

Pressing ctrl+x leaves the file straight away and the changes on-screen have not been changed permanently but there are lines in the terminal after saying:

Starting a new syntax type: "ebuild"
Starting a new colorstring for fg 2, bg -1
Adding new entry for fg 2, bg -1
Adding new entry for fg 2, bg -1
Adding new entry for fg 2, bg -1

The last 3 entried are continued for about 30 lines.

This seems puzzleing because konsole does the same so i originally thought it was an rxvt problem but it edits completely normally using vim in rxvt.

Emerge info:

That's because you've compiled it with USE=debug ;)
