Please upgrade to gentoo-sources-2.6.16 and reproduce the panic. We need more details too - is the panic logged? I have an Initio 360P on AMD64, gentoo 2006.1. I am using gentoo-sources 2.6.19-r5. Attached is dmesg, contains at least some of the output of the kernel. I can provide other log files if necessary.
