Description Armando Di Cianno 2006-03-16 20:24:06 UTC
First, excuse the lack of details as I was on the terminal of a different computer when this problem occurred.

- I was doing an `emerge world -e` when x11-proto/kbproto began to emerge. It failed with a digest verification failure.
- I ran `emerge --sync` (I was sure I did not monkey with kbproto, nor did I have an overlay with it, nor did emerge -pv show a [1] or anything similar [to affirm I had it in an overlay or not]; I am running xorg-7, but mainly this was via package.keywords and package.unmask).
- I did `emerge --resume`, kbproto failed again, with the same digest verification
- I ran ebuild digest on the sole kbproto ebuild
- `emerge --resume` installed kbproto just fine

So, all in all, it looks like a bad Manifest got committed -- just wanted to exhaust other possibilites of my own personal monkeyitude. :-)

(sorry, no emerge --info -- like I said, other machine; however, yes, this is a definitely running x86 with ~x86 xorg-x11 and gnome, with gcc-4....the error doesn't seem related to the setup, as evidenced above).
