This is probably going to be an upstream problem; can you give a try to amarok-1.4_beta2 (that should be mostly stable.. if you're not using gstreamer backend, that is), that is using a ruby script for lyrics fetching? If that doesn't solve, I'll see to re-route this bug upstream so that they can fix it before final release. Please try with amarok 1.4_beta3-r2, might have been solved by the new handling. Also, note that the default lyrics provider (lyrc.com.ar iirc) has problems with encoding that can't really be solved. If the problem persists, reopen this bug and report one on KDE bugzilla for upstream. |
