Bah... it doesn't display a "NV" model number, which is why my scripts miss it. What does it detect the card as? Does it load the nvidia kernel module? Which X driver does it try to use instead? Does it just not configure OpenGL, but X still works fine? Here's the whole output. You'll notice that ALSA also isn't loaded properly. X works fine, although in vesa mode. I'll be submitting updates to the upstream database and hope that we can resolve many if not all of these. OK. I updated everything that I could find on the upstream pciids.sourceforge.net page, so hopefully they'll get approved. Anyway, there's nothing we can do about this further unless upstream approves this. Even though this is fixed, technically, we will not be shipping the binary drivers on another CD, since it violates the GPL to do so. |
