Florian Holzhauer (http://fholzhauer.de/) upgraded the libgaim version in net-im/yahoo-transport to a more  up-to-date one. As yahoo-transport is not really under active development, this is the only chance to get the patch in. It improves  garbage handling and makes the transport more usable (as far as you can make that transport more usable).
