Trying to track down the problem, I removed some USB devices. Turns out that a USB headset, which I do not have the module installed, on purpose, was unplugged alsamixergui worked as expected. It's just a standard usb headset, uses the usb-audio module. But if it isn't loaded in the kernel I don't see how this should effect alsamixer one bit. As shown, it isn't listed in /proc/asound/cards. Anyone going to respond to this bug? (In reply to comment #2) > Anyone going to respond to this bug? > I cannot reproduce this one, it works fine for me Not much has happened, but sounds like an upstream issue with alsa. Does this still happen with the current alsa-lib version (considering that is stucks inside asound.so)? (In reply to comment #2) > Anyone going to respond to this bug? Seems to work fine, can you reproduce with current alsa? Reopen, if you can. |
