Needs entry in /usr/local/portage/profiles/thirdpartymirrors for filefront. Even though it says it is an alpha, I'll check out the quality and see how it goes and will likely add it. I think a better description line for the ebuild is: DESCRIPTION="Doom 1 & 2 maps and HUD conversion for Doom 3" It's currently only 2 maps (selectable by going to the left or right on the start map), and the maps die to Doom 3's command-line when completed. But, that's reflected in the low version number (it's in active development), and in its current state it's capable of bringing a tear to the eye of older gamers :) HAHAHAHAHA... This one is great, but I think we'll wait until it is a bit further along before we include it in the tree. Feel free to REOPEN this one when it becomes a bit more mature. Latest alpha, with more maps & music. Good for a quick retro-style laugh ;)
So how does this one fare now? Should I check it out for possible inclusion, or is it still a ways off? It has some small bugs, so isn't ready for Portage just yet. Hopefully after the next major revision :) Created attachment 129594 [details]
