This was a compile error, which is *not* an installer bug. The compilation error will be in the Output tab of the installer (and also in /tmp/compile_output.log) Yes and No! Yes: The error is originated in the compile - like i posted. No: BUT the installer window shouldn't freeze, at least it should output the error! "The compilation error will be in the Output tab of the installer" - and this is the bug, the output tab is not visible, the complete window turns white and freezes. How much memory do you have? How much time did you give it to recover? Memory: 768 MB Time: It failed at 03:19:26 i looked at it at 07:30:00 (it was white) i moved the mouse had breakfast, did some work and looked again at 09:00:00 still white....thought it is a bug and decided to write a bug report ;-) is there a debug mode for the gli - to traceback the real last operation? (maybe it's a problem of the gtk, how can i provide more details?) Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do to fix this. It's really a python+GTK problem. Moving to Release Media/Installer. |
