jboss needs to compiled with jdk-1.2 sources avaible. With jdk-1.5 or 1.5 it doesn't compile, the configure breaks with compile-classes: [javac] Compiling 49 source files to /var/tmp/portage/jboss-3.2.5/work/jboss-3.2.5-src/jboss.net/output/classes/main [javac] javac: target release 1.2 conflicts with default source release 1.5
