sys-kernel/openvz-sources-025.014 which is the unstable version of openvz-sources, doesn't contain an implementation of fairsched.  Without it VPSes cannot be started.

Below is an example of what happens when I try to start a VPS:

$ vzctl start 123
Starting VPS ...
VPS is mounted
Setting CPU units: 1000
fairsched_chwt: Function not implemented
VPS start failed
Stopping VPS ...
VPS was stopped
VPS is unmounted


I am using sys-cluster/vzctl-2.7.0.24

I just found out, if I upgrade to sys-cluster/vzctl-2.7.0.25, it doesn't require fairsched.  My only suggestion would be to make the unstable kernel block the stable vzctl.

Well, there is a problem with the openvz stuff .. You can't install/build vz* unless you have openvz-sources installed.

My only suggestion would be to add an PDEPEND=">=sys-cluster/vzctl-2.7.0.25" to the 2.6.15 version of openvz-sources which would then pull in vzctl-2.7.025 (or greater) after the kernel-sources are merged.
