I have uploaded a sample file to my comcast account. The link is: http://home.comcast.net/~f.russo/Gentoo-BugID-125022.tar.gz This is a good one because the duration is -23735:-30. This would be expected if it were Huey Louis's song "Back In Time", but is unacceptable otherwise ;-) go on Option > Preferences > MAD MPEG Decoder Plugin > Configure and switch off "fast playtime calculation" this will solve Disabling "Fast Playtime Calculation" does not resolve the problem for the sample file provided. The duration shows as "-23735:-30". Tested on the origional machine as well as my work box (Dell 4600 i686). Thank you for your time, Frank Russo Sample file linked is no longer available (cancled Comcast account, moved to Austria) xmms and all plugins are now package.masked and will be removed from the tree in one month. WONTFIX. |
