Couldn't find this searching for alsa-jack... so here's what I think is happening.

checking for jack >= 0.98... Package jack was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `jack.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'jack' found
