Description email_deleted_GqKU 2006-03-02 10:14:43 UTC
There is no ebuild for kde-base/libkpgp-3.5.1, but kde-base/certmanager-3.5.1 requires one.

################################################################

# emerge -pvuD world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating world dependencies |
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "~kde-base/libkpgp-3.5.1".
(dependency required by "kde-base/certmanager-3.5.1" [ebuild])

!!! Problem resolving dependencies for kde-base/kdepim-meta
!!! Depgraph creation failed.

There are a lot of dependency problems...

Problematic dependencies (there are more, I don't have enough time to test the other packages...):

"~kde-base/kdesu-3.5.1" required by "kde-base/kcontrol-3.5.1"
"~kde-base/kdialog-3.5.1" required by "kde-base/kdebase-kioslaves-3.5.1"
"~kde-base/kode-3.5.1" required by "kde-base/kdepim-kresources-3.5.1"
"~kde-base/libkdenetwork-3.5.1" required by "kde-base/certmanager-3.5.1" (see bug #121915)
"~kde-base/libkmime-3.5.1" required by "kde-base/kdepim-kioslaves-3.5.1"
"~kde-base/libkpgp-3.5.1" required by "kde-base/certmanager-3.5.1"
"~kde-base/libksieve-3.5.2" required by "kde-base/kmail-3.5.1" (3.5.2? how come?)

It seems there is a problem with the "MAXKDEVER=3.5.1" variable... it isn't taken into account, so 3.5.0 packages with this variable set as it is, do not satisfy the dependency, as would true 3.5.1 packages...

There may be a bug report about the whole thing, but I don't know what keywords to search for...

Invalid bug report... but this is because of a misleading error message ;p
