Description John W Eckhart 2006-02-27 14:13:27 UTC
The gpasswd file exists to shadow passwords normally installed in /etc/groups.

When creating a new group it should be possible to add the group to /etc/gpasswd as well as /etc/groups. This way, commands like newgrp will work as expected, and only prompt for a passwd when the behavior dictates this.

The group shadow file is /etc/gshadow (not /etc/gpasswd)
