Dear gentoo people! I didn't find any reported bugs except very old ones, so here it is. emerge udev stops with an md5 error: !!! Digest verification Failed: !!! /usr/portage/sys-fs/udev/files/udev.conf !!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size The affected version is sys-fs/udev-079-r1. Former description for a work around (emerge --digest) may work but I guess it should be fixed. Several emerge sync runs did not fix the problem. Here I found another description of the behavior: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-435178-highlight-udev+md5.html" lg. Jörgen |
