Just putting mirror://gentoo in SRC_URI should work fine. The restriction just means it doesn't check Gentoo mirrors prior to what's in SRC_URI. Well, you could still do the mirror://gentoo thing for the patch and tell the user to manually fetch it as well. Might be worth checking whether portage will resolve the SRC_URI location to an actual URL. Right now there are about 8300 patches in filesdir (about 20 megabyte of files). They are about 7% of the portage tree. Dead bug. |
