A new version of net-print/libinklevel is out: it's version 0.6.5_rc1
All versions before that version do NOT compile with gcc-4.0
I copied the 0.6.4 ebuild to 0.6.5_rc1 and it seems to work. I am able to check the ink-levels of my EPSON Stylus Photo 830U with kink.
