make[1]: *** [sane.ind] Error 1 sane.ind is built using LaTeX which isn't in the sane-backends dependencies... Sorry, I currently don't have much time. Can't promise to fix this soon. Please have patience. Didn't find a clean solution for this, so I just added tetex to the dependencies. @Olaf: can you be more specific and tell us the use flag you're using and the SANE_BACKENDS variable (could be in /etc/make.conf)? I removed the latex dependancy (no latex here) and still it emerges fine, my flags are : gphoto2 usb -ipv6 -v4l , my backend was snapscan but I removed and emerged all backends... still fine. ~x86 here. I also posted an ebuild in bug #133728, please try that and/or try USE_LATEX="no" emerge sane-backends Tried it again: USE="gphoto2 usb -ipv6 -v4l" SANE_BACKENDS not set, building all backends For some reason it works now.. (In reply to comment #6) > Tried it again: > > USE="gphoto2 usb -ipv6 -v4l" > > SANE_BACKENDS not set, building all backends > > For some reason it works now.. > So you can't reproduce the problem any more? If yes, we could close this as WORKSFORME since I am in the same situation. Strange... Yes, I can't reproduce it. Really strange Whatever it was, let's hope it won't happen again. |
