Please add --enable-mfd-rewrites to net-analyzer/net-snmp ebuilds - on x86_64 there's no way how to measure network interfaces over SNMP as the 32-bit counters return 0 all the time. This configure option enables ifXTable and 64-bit counters. Should be OK for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

temporary solution: EXTRA_ECONF="--enable-mfd-rewrites" emerge -av net-analyzer/net-snmp

It is already available through the mfd-rewrites USE flag in the unstable versions.
