Description Gabriel Devenyi 2006-02-12 18:10:08 UTC
As media-libs/libifp is available in portage, please add USE=ifp to allow enabling of ifp support, manually editing the ebuild to use ifp support works.
Comment 1 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-13 02:17:44 UTC
You can confirm it works (not only compile)?
I don't have an iRiver and I can't really test this, and remember of having heard of the support being still a bit experimental.
Comment 2 Gabriel Devenyi 2006-02-13 04:34:09 UTC
I uploaded a set of lectures last night to my iRiver IFP-799 and it didn't blow up.
Comment 3 Gabriel Devenyi 2006-03-06 16:49:35 UTC
This works fine, please add

Proposed ebuild with ifp support

This is my try at adding ifp support to the ebuild, it works for me, any testers?
Comment 5 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-07 02:08:49 UTC
Thanks, I actually forgot about this :(

It's now in amarok-1.4_beta2-r1.
Comment 6 Gabriel Devenyi 2006-03-14 19:34:12 UTC
I just removed my overlay which I attached, and found your ebuild doesn't work, due to the --without-ifp being several lines below $(use_with ifp)
, could you please remove that?
Comment 7 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-15 05:57:02 UTC
Sorry, fixed now.
