patch for gdal-1.3.1.ebuild to enable ECW support
I think that ECW should be enabled in gdal 1.3.2.. Created attachment 90438 [details] gdal-1.3.2 ebuild with ecw support Other files can be found in /usr/portage/sci-libs/gdal/files. Please use libecwj2 ebuild found at bug #122186 and do feedback. All is working fine... Due the new license on ECW, there are any opportunity to see ECW flag in GDAL 1.3.2? Since libecwj2 will hit Portage soon, GDAL needs an 'ecw' useflag. I know this bug report isn't for requesting version bumps, but I'll attach here a patch to bump GDAL from Portage 1.3.2 to 1.4.0beta1. It fixes some issues with ebuild syntax and functionality. Patch for gdal-1.3.2 (portage) -> gdal-1.4.0_beta1
Here's the announced patch. Please, copy gdal-1.3.2.ebuild from portage in the directory that stores the patch, then launch
$ patch -p5 < gdal_132-to-140b1.patch && mv gdal-1.{3.2,4.0_beta1}.ebuild
HTH, please feedback.
Any idea when the ebuilds will be updated? As always, please see http://gentoo-gis.sf.net/ Cheers. gdal-1.6.1 has ecwj2k use flag. I think this bug is resolved I agree; closing... |
